Top 10 reasons La Cruz Marina is better than the anchorage:
By Mickey Doolittle
10. Unlimited electricity
9. Exercise is easy
8. Close to Huanacaxtle Cafe (my favorite restaurant here)
7. The anchorage is rolly
6. More people to see in the marina
5. The anchorage you have to take the dinghy to shore
4. Watch the sunset in the Sky Bar
3. Bus is nearby
2. V.I.P. Lounge has bathrooms, WiFi, air-conditioning and a good place to meet up with friends
1. Take 10 steps and you are on land

I HAVE A DREAM
By Mickey Doolittle
I have a dream that one day war will end. I want this dream because, I hate violence and killing. I would love war to be replaced with either debating or to use the Nerf guns, exploders or other guns that don't cause harm. If this dream comes true, it will help Mother Earth a lot.
I HAVE A DREAM
By J.P. Doolittle
I have a dream that nobody uses deadly weapons. I will make this dream come tru by telling people that it is wrong to use them! If the really want to use weapons I would tell them to use other kinds of guns like Nerf or paintball guns. I wish this dream will come true.

As you all know the sailing language is a little different. Here are some vocabulary.
#1. main sail - the sail that uses the boom to stay up.
#2. dodger - a plastic screen that protects the cockpit from the wind.
#3. spinnaker - a sail used only when the wind is just right.
#4. Los Muertos - a tiny town mostly a big hotel.
#5. Mazatlan - a large town
#6. Catalina 38 - the type of boat we are on.
#7. Profligate - the leader of the Baja Ha Ha.
#8. marina - a place where boats go to dock.
#9. Keep in touch! Hopefully I will get another time soon to do another entry.

FROM J.P.
Dear Followers and Readers,
Hello everyone. This is J.P. saying that we sailed from La Paz to Los Muertos and then from Los Muertos to Mazatlan and Mazatlan to La Cruz. Now we are at La Cruz and I met a kid that is about Mickey's age meaning about 10 or 11. His name is Leo. He has a sister named Theresa. We also met some kids named James and Sydney. We went sailing on their big boat and went snorkeling. A whale splashed us, but we did not see it come out of the water. Mickey, James and Sydney were all on deck and so was I. They got wet, but did not get as wet as me! That is all I have to say today.
Goodbye!
J.P.

More Answers to Your Questions.....
Our friends, Mary and Friedie asked these questions and now we will answer them:
"I wonder when you guys are going to get to La Paz? Are your friends from the village still your friends? Did they speak Spanish or English? JP, We think it is really funny that you were a naked sailor." -Mary and Friedie
We got to La Paz 3 weeks ago and it is very hot and fun here. We went out to the Islands and they were beautiful. The water was so clear that we could see millions of fish when we were at the sea lion rookery. My dad choked on salt water because a sea lion swam around him and then swam away.
Are your friends from the village still your friends? Not really, because we haven't gone back to Bahia Tortuga. They spoke Spanish, but they wanted to learn English. The word home run in Spanish is just "home run".
Here is a question from our friend, Sara: Have you learned any Spanish yet? If so, you will have to teach me some when you get back.
Hi Sara! We haven't been learning very much Spanish, but we have been learning little by little.
We have learned: hello - hola
How are you doing? - Como estas?
My brother is crazy - Mi hermano es loco!
thank you - gracias
no - no
yes - si
your welcome - de nada
french fries - papas
orange fanta - fanta naranja
shoes - zapatos
market - mercado
football - futbol americano
soccer - futbol
How do you say? - Como se dice?
cheeseburger - hamburguesa con queso
I don't know - No se
all of the numbers to 10

Stuck Sweatin'
Mickey here! Right now I am stuck on the boat sweating and maybe later I might go swimming. My cousins cam and visited from Petaluma which is right near San Francisco.
They gave me a new favorite food. It is a brown sugar bagel with blueberry cream cheese!!!!! It came from the bagel shop here in La Paz. It tasted like no other bagel I have tasted before!
The other day we went to try and see a few whale sharks that are in the bay. We saw a few huge dolphins, but no whales. our cousins and my friends, James and Sydney, were on board. Jack and Chase's reactions were Ooooohs and Ah Ah Ah Ahs. When we saw them we went, "Where, where, where?.....Oh, just dolphins." (we have seen a lot of dolphins).
From J.P.
Hello people! We are in La Paz and it’s very warm here! I am stuck with my brother. It is a little breezy. It’s a good day to swim and it’s very sunny.
There are treats like Milch and a brown sugar bagel with blueberry cream cheese here. Milch looks like an ice cream bar, but you don’t have to freeze it! There is one more treat that is a cupcake called Penguino.
I lost a tooth when we were looking for whale sharks, but all we saw were dolphins. When we were watching for whale sharks, we picked up Jack and Chase (my cousins) and James and Sydney (my friends). Jack, Chase and Mickey sat in a boson chair and we tied a rope to the chair and my dad raised them up the mast (scary!).
I guess that is all for today. Goodbye and have a great time!

Answers to a Comment's Question
Our friend, Chris asked a question in the "Comments" section. Thanks! We love it when people comment! So as for your question....our mom helped us with what it meant.
"Hola Micky and J.P. ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de México? Can you
answer this?"
Translation: What do you like most about Mexico?
Mickey: I like the clear water because I can actually see the fish and go
snorkeling and easily see. Sometimes you can see the bottom in 40 foot
water!!!
JP: I like the food in Mexico because I like rice,
tortillas, quesadillas and mostly Fanta soda - orange (naranja).
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - I am tired now......
Keep the comments coming!!
